This is a very enlightening Webinar for a family caregiver. I've been the guardian for my brother-in-law for eight years now. He had an industrial accident in 1986 which left him with short term memory loss, with only the ability to see out of one eye and recently diagnosed with Parkinson's. He is also diabetic. I've had family members help but sometimes its hard to get that help. I do go with my best friend for away time from caring for him and my son is willing to give overnight relief. I was told by the courts to listen to this Webinar and I'm glad because you have helped me see that I have options for help and that family members should get some of the duties to give me a bit of a more break. I am paid to take care of him for 40 hours, but as you know its 7 days a week and 24hours a day. He sleeps as if you take a nap longest being 4 hours then he's up and dressed for the day. Your tips are really helpful and I will use them. Thank-you.
