Driving with caution is good even at older age,it definitely activates your reflexes greatly, instead if you engage a driver for the purpose may be you will only dose while travelling. However when you take up longer journey you should make it a point to start early in the morning so that in case of emergency you can ask for help of people who in return would have time and energy to help you..

If a discussion about driving is very difficult it often helps to accompany the parent to the doctor and engage in that conversation in the doctor's office.
