The Home Instead Senior Care network offers free continuing education (CE) credits in conjunction with the web series, which features common aging and senior care scenarios. Gerontologist, Lakelyn Hogan hosts each webinar with a Q&A format following the presentation.Aging (ASA). One CE is available per webinar for 60 days following the live event. The CE courses, which began in 2010, are offered compliments of the Home Instead Senior Care network so there is no cost for the CE.

Hi Cathleen. Please try again. I checked with the American Society on Aging and they've processed your account. Some times it takes a moment. Thanks!

I completed the LTCI webinar 2-6-19. I got an email from Steve Moore after I signed up/in. But when I finished the webinar, it just went back to the home page, with no further instructions. I had been told I'd need to answer questions to complete the process, but they never came in. I never received another email either. My office (Home Instead 678) said I should email you about it.

I am a sr citizen so also my wife & am regularly driving my car, however whenever we take longer journey's we use to start for our destination quite early in the morning in order to reach the place early as well and avoid driving in the evening and night, in doing so you are fresh, get a clear road, less traffic etc. Also before taking the journey is used to inform some close friends relatives about my journey for assistance if needed but it may not be convenient during late hrs

Hi Jodi, Home Instead Senior Care in Texas is licensed by the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services. Beyond that, each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated, so we would encourage you to reach out to your local franchise regarding their specific certifications. Thank you.

Hi Tami. Anyone can participate in the webinar for a certificate of completion or request CEU credit from a certain accreditation board as long as you're affiliated with one of the boards listed. Hope that helps!

Have you considered having your CEU's approved by the Ohio Counseling and Social Work Board? I have a counseling degree and work in a Hospital setting - it would be very much appreciated!

I am interested in some of the webinars presented here. However, almost all programs are presented at times I am working. Have you considered airing these programs at times that those of us working as Caregivers are able to participate? Thanks you.

Hi Carolyn, thanks for your interest in participating in the webinars and for your feedback. We understand that timing can be a challenge for many professionals. Caregiver shifts span all hours of the day and night, so for those that cannot attend, we always post a recording of the webinar that professionals can watch whenever their schedule permits. CEU credit is available up to 60 days following the event. Thanks again for getting in touch!

I attended a webinar but when I went to apply for CEU credit it requires a member affiliation which mine is not listed and I just checked one. If you cannot get the credit without being a member of one of those organizations then it should state that before you register for the webinar.

Hi, I watched the recorded webinar for Understandin the Scams Senior face. I tried to complete the questionairre, but the survey monkey link does not work. Has it been changed? This is not the first time that I have had an issue trying to submit. Thank you.

Hi, Marcia, Sorry for that glitch. I'm creating a trouble ticket so that our web team can investigate. Thanks for the heads up.
