Home Instead Senior CareA seismic shift is happening in the workplace as more working individuals than ever before are becoming caregivers to their parents. Six in 10 caregivers report being employed at some point in the past year while caregiving, according to the report “Caregiving in the U.S.” Among them, 56percent worked full time and, on average, they worked 34.7 hours a week. When it becomes difficult to balance caregiving with work, or if the demands of work conflict with one’s caregiving responsibilities, some caregivers make changes to their work situation. This web seminar will outline how resources, tools and support can help to empower working caregivers and improve the quality of both their personal and professional lives.
