Im caring for both parents, Alzhiemers, dementia, I have Myasthenia Gravis, and 2 yr ago Leukaemia. My brother is not in the picture, I've tried to call he won't call back, left msgs. I lost my best friend, ,, I thought she was over this. Moved my parents back to where I live, 4 yrs ago, now moving to asst living. All myself, with God Im Blessed. This is the most loving, growing, experience I will ever go through im honored. Its the hardest sadest, meanest lesson. I would do it again. Love you Mom and Dad.

How do you get someone who has dementia to understand that they need to set up a long term plan for their health and care of her personal business? I have tried to get this set up without any success. Should it be someone outside of the home who needs to be appointed to this position like a son or the caregiver themselves? I am having sister problems and need to get this set up so hopefully this will settle this problem.
