I would like to know if there is volunteer help for doing laundry. It requires climbing some stairs in a low-rise apartment building.

Have you heard of adult day centers? They are so helpful for the dementia participant and for caregivers. The participant has a more productive life because of the daily consistent routine. Adult day centers provide cognitive stimulation through activities provided. They also gain physical strength through the daily exercise program. All activities are carefully planned to help the overall wellbeing of the participant. Day centers keep the participant at home longer. Medical services are also a big part of their services. There is an excellent day center in Norman, Ok. It is called Full Circle Adult Day Center. If interested please call 405-447-2955.
