The CAREGiving Experience

Caring for seniors is a labor of love that requires a special person with just the right touch. That's why, when you provide care with the Home Instead network, you become a CAREGiver with a capital "CARE."
Day-to-day job tasks may include providing:

Training & Support

As a Home Instead CAREGiver, you will receive initial and ongoing training opportunities during your employment. Areas of training include:

  • Basic and advanced caregiving techniques
  • Senior safety
  • Activities and social engagement
  • Personal care (optional)
  • Alzheimer’s and dementia care (optional)

CAREGivers are supported by a local office staff who coordinate care schedules, facilitate communication and recognize outstanding CAREGivers for their dedication through the CAREGiver of the Year Award program.
